Additional scope and trademark notice (not part of the MIT License terms)
------------------------------------------------------------------------

The MIT License above applies to KITAQGB's original code and the
MIT-licensed code inherited from NORCAL, with their respective copyright
notices preserved.

KITAQGB includes the 48-byte Nintendo logo data in compatible Game Boy
cartridge headers solely for compatibility with the console's boot-time
validation. Its inclusion does not constitute a claim of ownership of
Nintendo's logo or trademarks, nor does KITAQGB grant an independent
license to any rights Nintendo may hold in that logo or those trademarks.

KITAQGB is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by,
sponsored by, or approved by Nintendo. Game Boy and Game Boy Color are
trademarks of Nintendo.

This notice clarifies the scope of the project's license and does not
add restrictions to the code covered by the MIT License above.

Additional font notices (not part of the MIT License terms)
------------------------------------------------------------------------

The 92-glyph ASCII sample font supplied with the KITAQ manuals is
original work by DAISUKE OBA. The author confirmed original authorship and
permission to publish it under MIT on 2026-09-12.

This covers examples/beginner_samples/assets/ascii.c in the development
workspace, samples/assets/ascii.c in the manual distribution, and its
format conversions, including samples/font_gb.h and samples/font.chr.
The full font MIT notice is in licenses/fonts/ASCII-font-MIT.txt in this
distribution. Preserve it when redistributing these glyphs or conversions.

This permission concerns the supplied sample glyphs. It does not grant
rights in other fonts supplied by users, loaded from ROMs, or present in
screenshots or analysis inputs and outputs.

These notices identify font rights separately from the project code.
They do not replace third-party licenses or add restrictions to code
covered by the MIT License above.

The HUD glyph subsets embedded in lib/wire3d_dmg.c (96-line profile)
and lib/wire3d_cgb.c are converted from the same original ASCII font
and are covered by that font MIT notice. Paths are relative to the repository.

ZX0 format acknowledgment (not an additional license condition)
------------------------------------------------------------------------

The ZX0 format and original compression algorithm were designed by
Einar Saukas. We acknowledge his contribution to compression for 8-bit
computers.
ZX0 project: https://github.com/einar-saukas/ZX0

KITAQ implementation: Copyright (c) 2026 DAISUKE OBA.
The ZX0-compatible compressor and decompressor have been independently
reimplemented for KITAQGB and are covered by the MIT License above.
They do not incorporate source code from the official ZX0 implementation
or from other ZX0-compatible implementations.

This acknowledgment credits the format designer. It does not change the
license of any upstream implementation, imply endorsement, or add further
conditions to the MIT-licensed KITAQ implementation.
